I want to file a complaint
Contacting the Síndic’s office is quite easy. A complaint must be filed in writing. The person filing it must sign it and include his or her personal information. The Síndic guarantees their confidentiality.
How to file a complaint
- Through the People’s Services Unit. The office hours are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., from Monday to Friday. Passeig de Lluís Companys,7 08003, Barcelona Metro and Commuter train (L1 Arc de Triomf) and bus (19, 39, 40, 41, 42, 51, 55, 141, B-25). See map.

The complaint must be signed and include the sender’s personal information. If you send it by e-mail or through the form via Internet the complaint must include your personal information.

Guide for filing a complaint in writing
The brief of the complaint has to be simple, direct and concise.
Elements that the complaint must include:
- The situation that the complaint is about.
- Name of the Administration, or company providing service of public interest, about which the complaint is being filed.
- A brief description of the steps already taken and the circumstances surrounding the situation reported.
- The name, surname, postal address and telephone (if possible) of the person filing the complaint.
