The delegation met with the Deputy, Laura Díez, and two advisers of the departments of International Cooperation and Security.
The delegation consists of high representatives from different Croatian institutions: Niko Andjic, Home Office representative, Region of Vukovarsko-Srijemska Police Division, (Organized Crime Department); Danijela Gaube, adviser for the Human Rights National Office (she had formerly worked at the Ministry of Social Affairs helping victims of people traffic); Dunja Bonacci Skenderovic, representative of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development of Viena, Zagreb's Office (issues related to people traffic and women rights protection); Mariyana Radava, from the International Centre for Migration Policy Development of Viena, Zagreb's Office; and Ferida Brzovic, advisor for Economic Affairs of the Croatian Consulate in Barcelona.
The visit's purpose is gathering data about the situation in Catalonia, learning about the activities carried out here to detect possible victims of people traffic and evaluating the possibility of working together with other European countries already involved in the project.
