Ribó takes part in Milan’s meeting on Ombudsmen in network
Catalan Ombudsman, Rafael Ribó, attended the meeting "European Metropolises for Ombuds-Network", held in Milan by the Difensore Civico (Ombudsman) and the City Council. Ribó took part in the meeting both as a Catalan Ombudsman and as European Regional Director of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI).
Ribó centred his speech on Ombudsmen's different territorial scopes (local, regional and national), referring to the Catalan experience of collaboration between the Síndic and local Ombudsmen.
European Ombudsman, Nikoforos Diamandouros and Barcelona Ombudswoman, Pilar Malla, did also attend the meeting. Malla took part in the session "The effectiveness of Ombudsman between Good Relationships and Good Regulations".
