Serbian Parliament delegation visit the Síndic
A delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia, headed by Vice President Judita Popovic and consisting of 24 representatives, visited the Catalan Ombudsman. The Ombudsman, Rafael Ribó, his deputy, Laura Díez and Director of Social Affairs and Relations with the Parliament, M. Jesús Larios, welcomed the delegation and discussed about different issues of mutual interest.
Some of the subjects addressed were the Ombudsman's structure and functioning, its relation with the Catalan and Spanish Administrations and the volume and main subjects of complaints and queries dealt with by the institution. The Síndic's Cooperation projects in the Balkan area were also explained.
This visit is outlined within a study trip organized by the Office of the Council of Europe in Belgrad. Apart from the Síndic's headquarters, they visited the Catalan Parliament, the Ministry of Governance and Public Administration and the Catalan Auditor's Office.
