Considerations on the refusal of 70% of subsidies for entrepreneurs for lack of budget during 2010

A repeated refusal of requests presented from March / April until December, 2010 can damage the right to a good administration. For this reason, among others, the Catalan Ombudsman recommends to taking measures to relieve possible discriminatory effects caused by the date of the presentation of the requests when obtaining these subsidies.

Conclusions of the 26th Spanish Ombudsmen Coordination Seminar on the rights of elderly people

The document, agreed by the Spanish autonomous ombudsmen, gathers 16 proposals of action addressed to the administration in relation to the violation of rights of the elderly people. The Conference took place in Cartagena from June 6 to June 8, and was organized by the Ombudsman of the autonomous community of Murcia.

Signature of an agreement between the Catalan Ombudsman and the Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATM)

The signed agreement replaces the existing one between the Catalan Ombudsman and the FGC railways, and it extends its field of action and collaboration to all the companies belonging to the Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATM): FGC railways, Renfe commuter train network, Barcelona Metropolitan Transport, Tram (Tramway of Barcelona), and Busmet (private bus network).
